This brings the Lite version up-to-date with the Pro version (minus the Pro-specific features, of course!
Changes since 1.4.0 are: User is notified (one-time dialog box) when a dictionary update becomes available When the search text matches both Pinyin and English, now the English results are shown (as well as the Pinyin/English buttons).
Changes are: Voice recognition (Android 2.1+ only) - uses Google’s remote voice recognition engine which is supposed to support both English and Mandarin Chinese, but, in my tests, actually only supports English.
Solves the issue where showing all the favourites, but none being stored, could cause a Force Close.
Lots of behind the scenes improvements here primarily geared towards the search results, in particular ordering.
Not too many new features as such, but lots of improvements to the way the dictionary is installed & updated.
